Summary

Born in Nairobi Kenya, schooled in Malawi and England, Graham completed his education in the Culinary Arts in Torquay in the UK working in many different types of establishments in England, Scotland, Wales and the Chanel Islands as a way to gain more experience of the trade before leaving the UK to travel to South Africa to take up a position as Executive Chef in a Busy Pretoria hotel in 1988. In Southern Africa he worked in Hotels, Airline Catering, Casinos, on the World famous Luxury Blue Train. He owned a catering company and opened his own successfully restaurant known as The Swazi River Cafe. Returning to the UK in 2001, he sought a position on the Celebrity Cruises Ship the GTS Summit as Sous chef sailing around the Caribbean. Seeking travel again he took up a position in the British Army officers Mess in Hamlin Germany. An opportunity came up to work in Iraq in 2003 as the Camp Manger of Babylon military camp. Here he supervised the catering and life support for the American and International Coalition forces. He worked all over Iraq in Najaf , Al Kut, Baghdad, Fallujah, TQ airbase and in the north of the country in Al Kisak near Mosul . A chance meeting with his wife Sharie in 2005 led him to a small town and farm on the outskirts of Valdosta , where Graham and Sharie now make their home with a menagerie of horses, dogs and cats. He opened a Pasty bakery & shop in Lake Park, GA and has worked recently in Canada and Texas. His love love of travel and adventure took him all over Africa working in South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Sao Tome, Rwanda before returning to South Africa and Swaziland before retuning to the UK
