I never went to culinary school until after I received my Executive Chef certification (CEC) and Certified Culinary Administrator (CCA) from the American Culinary Federation. I have a passion for food and serving people the best I could do. I am married and have 2 children, both have food allergies, which has forced me to learn all aspects of food, food preparation, and qualities to keep them safe. I started in restaurants back in the '70's, moved on to country clubs, hotels/conference centers, teaching and ultimately owning my own business. Now that I am retired, I miss the professional kitchen, and still have the passion. Once a "kitchen soldier"....it never leaves you.
