I've been in kitchens for nearly 30 years. I started out as a punk teenager who thought he was going to be a rock star and few years later I had two culinary degrees and a huge dream to make it big...well, reality check, we can't all be the best chef in the world or Mr. Famous TV guy but I love how my career progressed through some of the great kitchens in Orange County. I now oversee all innovation at Umami Burger. Our test kitchen is in downtown LA and I get to work with some great people making some insanely delicious burgers. Baking and Pastry (not an option in the "cuisines" checkbox) are my true passions but I'm an old fashion kind of chef...don't call me for molecular stuff...not my gig.
