She is also a strong activist for the recognition and advancement of authentic South African Cuisine and of female Culinary experts. Chef Mpume established Africa Meets Europe, 9 years ago, to promote African cuisine through various mediums. The key competencies of the business are as follows: Cooking events - Market Days, cooking demonstrations, farmer food promotions, cooking lessons on African fusion food for tourists (local and international) and produce value add.
