I believe the best dishes feature carefully selected fresh ingredients with distinct flavors and a straightforward, globally inspired cooking style that also promotes healthy and seasonal eating. I currently am the Culinary Director for a restaurant group here in Austin which consists of five restaurants and a catering company. This job allows me to nurture my passion for cooking, as well as teaching -- and allows me to utilize fresh ingredients seasonally from local farms. I am also a restaurant consultant in addition to owning a business, Azul House, LLC -- which nourishes my love of Peruvian Cuisine.
