I have over thirty years of experience as a Chef in restaurants, hotels, & catering companies. I opened my first business at the age of twenty seven and grew it into five restaurants, catering, and a small cooking school. My background is British with Sri-Lankan and Malaysian influences. I was raised in London and moved to the U.S. at the age of ten. I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and spent a few years in New Orleans, Washington D.C., Maine, and now Boston. I love teaching and exploring new techniques. Modernist Cuisine, Spa Cuisine, Haute Cuisine, and so many other world cuisines. My preference is for naturally grown foods prepared in simple and authentic ways. I enjoy teaching and educating people of all ages on cooking, nutrition, technique, and food presentation.
