James graduated from the prestigious culinary school, The New England Culinary Institute, located in Montpelier, Vermont with a B.A. in 1991. Prior to moving to Asia he worked in leading restaurants and hotels in England, Italy, USA as well the Caribbean. Originally from the USA, James arrived in Hong Kong in 1997 and has worked with various restaurant & hospitality groups in operational management. Before opening his own Freelance Consulting business, James operated the online food businesses Golden Goose Gourmet and The Porterhouse. Prior was the General Manager for the legendary Morton’s of Chicago Steakhouse, which he opened at the Venetian Hotel & Casino. James is passionate about food, wine & hospitality and everything related to it. As an accomplished Chef, James enjoys entertaining at home with his family and friends.
