His culinary training includes the U.S. Coast Guard, Port Huron State College, and continuing education with the Culinary Institute of America. I have held different culinary and chef positions for companies such as Universal Studios Orlando, Compass Group and Marriott International. My business endeavors included prior ownership of a fine dining, a casual, a fast food restaurant, a gourmet hors d'oeuvres company, and a culinary consulting firm. I have been in the catering profession for the past 15 years. I am also a former instructor of Culinary Arts at Manatee Technical Institute, a State of Florida Food Safety Manager Instructor & Test Administrator, and certified HACCP. My culinary media includes ABC, Christian Television Network, The List, The Good Life Tampa Bay, Restaurant Magazine, Sam’s Club Food Service Magazine, and the Chicago Times. My culinary style includes French, Italian, Thai, Cajun, Oriental, Caribbean, Spanish, Mediterranean, Indian, Jewish Kosher, Fusion, and of course American Southern Comfort & Soul Food, which is a cuisine that cannot be taught in culinary school.
