I'm a professionally trained Chef, currently managing a bakery-café in northwest Washington State. I began my formal culinary training in the 1970s at restaurants throughout the Northwest, and now have some four decades of cooking experience under my belt. I'm well versed in a broad spectrum of cuisines, and best known for French, Tex-Mex and rustic American cookery. In addition to my work here, I own and operate a thriving food blog, am the Resident Chef of The Great Big Wild Podcast out of Madison, Wisconsin, and the Resident Chef for The American Boomer magazine.
