Summary

I am a graduate of the California School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, California. I graduated with academic honors, perfect attendance and was a member of the ACF Junior Hot Foods Team, competing at State level placing 3rd overall for our chapter. I have over 22 years of restaurant experience, having worked every facet of the kitchen brigade, including over 8 years in an Executive Chef capacity. I have helped develop menus, open 2 restaurants in New York, and have taught culinary arts for over 6 years. I have worked in all areas of the culinary arts from fine dining to high volume, to teaching. I am extremely passionate about my craft. I am highly motivated, very organized, able to multi-task, perform extremely well under pressure and have the capacity to show my love and enthusiasm through teaching. Being able to work hard, be flexible, maintain a professional attitude, and be creative are all part of my signature approaches to cooking. I LOVE WHAT I DO! I also hold a ServSafe certificate. I believe myself to be an asset to any kitchen or educational institution. My foundation and work ethic is sound. I have strong leadership and training skills as well as the ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced, multi-task capacity. I enjoy teaching because I am able to impart years of knowledge and skill with students eager to learn about the culinary industry.
