At age 30 James trained under acclaimed Chef Bradley Ogden at the prestigious Funky Chicken & Bradley fine dining , working and studying the nuances of both French and Classic American cuisine. Farm to table Concepts After 4 years under Chef Bradley Ogden tutelage, James spent time traveling the country, eventually landing in New Orleans, where he came to master Creole Cuisine, American Cuisine , which is now his trademarks. After returning to Houston and settling down, Chef James earned an opportunity to work with another renowned Chef Seth, at Springbok South Africa Chef who has trained some of the best and brightest in California, New York, in Florida plus Washington-DC In 2004 Chef James Rucker became the Executive Chef/Owner at J&M BARBEQUE where his creativity and innate understanding of fresh seafood fresh meats fresh food are helping to guide JMBC into the future.
