Share your talents, background and expertise.I started in the hospitality industry at my parents' Italian deli in high school, followed by exposure to the health care industry in college working in the cafeteria at Moffitt Cancer Center. From there I traveled to Hawaii to work at one of the top ten restaurants in Honolulu in 1990 Horatio's and later to Seattle to assist in the opening of Palisade in 1992. I have also cooked in hotels, The Registry Resort in Naples, Fl., as well as the The Maritana Grille at the Don CeSar on St. Pete. Beach, Fl. I graduated form USF, Tampa with a B.A. in Liberal Studies as well as from Johnson & Wales University with an A.S. in culinary Arts, Summa Cum Laude. I fell into natural foods 16 years ago, and found my true calling in life to make food that is good for you AND TASTE good. I hope I can help you enjoy your journey to finding fast, simple, flavorful, fun recipes to make your eating lifestyle enjoyable."Let food be thy medicine and medicine by thy food." I love this quote from Hippocrates, because there should not be a reason why we cannot enjoy the food we eat. By getting back to the basics and learning that food that is 'good for us' can be simple to make AND flavorful, I love to share this with any and all that want simple 10 and 20 minutes meals and recipes, along with those that are digestively challenged and need to know there is still flavorful, recipes just waiting to be shared.
