A native of Chicago, Illinois, Chef Ifayomi (pronounced EE-fah-YO-me) is well known as an accomplished Vegan and Vegetarian Chef, Dancer, Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Yogi and Holistic Health Professional. As creator of the BOOGALAFINI VEGAN...ORGANIC SOUL KITCHEN a Vegan & Vegetarian Personal Chef, Event Planning and Wellness Consultant Company, Chef Ifayomi is primarily a self-taught culinary professional with broad educational and on-the-job professional training and a long history of work experience in the restaurant and private food service industry. She specializes in creating and re-creating family favorite recipes, meals, menus and events into the ultimate vegan and vegetarian dining experience. Known also as the “Vegan Kitchen Goddess,” and the “Glamorous Chef,” Chef Ifayomi brings style, sophistication and excitement to vegan and vegetarianism, entertainment ideas and holistic health practices. After completing the program at The Vegan Culinary Academy, Chef Ifayomi’s focus, objective and both her personal and professional mission became to “Change the World One Vegetarian Meal at a Time” by working to help dispel the myth that vegan and vegetarian cuisine lacks beauty, substance and great taste! A published writer in both VRG's "Vegetarian Journal" (Vegan Soul Food for the Holidays -December 2012) and the "Urban Voice" magazines (Operating in the New Year -February 2011), Chef Ifayomi believes in Patricia Bragg's motto: “YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT, DRINK, BREATHE, THINK, SAY & DO!”, and has dedicated her life to preparing, sharing, instructing and promoting the benefits of a healthy vegan and vegetarian diet/lifestyle and consistent physical activity.
